# Job Description
Integrys Energy Services, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a Gas Operations Intern to be located at our De Pere-WI office. This position will be year round, working part-time during the school year and full-time during the school breaks.
The Gas Operations Intern will work within a team based environment assisting the Gas Operations team to provide customer load analysis, supply requirements, forecasting, and inventory balancing services. The intern will require strong attention to detail for the accurate entry of operational data, including customer gas usage, and the proper maintenance of historical usage data in Integrys' computer applications. It is the responsibility of the Gas Operations Intern to investigate unusual load fluctuations and metering issues. Lastly, the Gas Operations Intern will need to understand the importance of the partnerships with LDC's and meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Gas Retail End-user Forecast: Utilizes strong attention to detail while assisting with the coordination and execution of processes to ensure accurate forecasting, balancing, and reconciling of all LDC pools; Maintain data integrity and analyze historical customer gas usage data, knowledge of planned outages or load swings, and current weather trends to ensure accurate management of imbalances per LDC''s balancing parameters.
Customer Expectations: Collaborative partnership and communication of all pertinent information within Gas Operations and Supply to ensure responsive customer service and compliance with operational timelines and regulations; Communicate and build relationships with customers and/or LDC''s regarding meter readings, nomination changes and irregular usage data, as directed by the primary Forecast Analyst for the market.
Knowledge of Contracts & Tariffs: Obtain a basic knowledge of utility balancing requirements in order to assist with daily forecasting; Work with Gas Operations market experts to gain an understanding of the governing rules and regulations that impact the expectations of our customers and impact our scheduling, balancing and storage activity; Understand the importance of stated deadlines and take necessary follow-up action.
Gas Applications: Assist with entering all relevant data into a gas management system and ensure data is accurate.
Gas Operations Support: Answer phones, direct calls, take and provide accurate messages to appropriate parties in a timely manner; Assist Gas Operations by making copies, fax, central filing, manage excel data, etc.; Provide assistance as requested by the leader.

Minimum
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma, HSED, or GED is required.
Must be in pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or a related field and have completed at least sophomore year.
A minimum GPA of 2.8 or above on a 4.0 scale is required.
Must have at least 1 year experience with Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to learn new and existing computer applications.
Must be able to work part time during the school year and full time during school breaks.
