The City of De Pere is seeking a Police Business and Records Coordinator.
This position will manage the administrative support functions of the Police Department including records management, departmental communications, training, and procurement.
The typical work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:

m.

and Friday, 7:

However, the City of De Pere recognizes the importance of its employees having a proper work-life balance and supports alternative work arrangements which include alternative work schedules and flexible scheduling to help meet your lifestyle needs.
In addition, new employees receive three weeks of vacation time and four floating holidays per year beginning on the first day of work (prorated the first year).
Salary:
The full salary range for this position is $28.

The City of De Pere rewards employees for exceptional work performance with a pay for performance incentive program.
Employees may be awarded a salary increase, bonus, or paid time off for exceptional work performance.
Employees will be automatically enrolled in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), a pension plan to help provide for financial security during retirement, which consists of employer and employee contributions.
Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program:
The City of De Pere is a qualifying employer under the PSLF Program.
The PSLF Program is a federal program that is intended to encourage individuals to work in public service by forgiving the balance of their federal student loans.
To qualify, the individual must have made 120 qualifying payments while employed by a qualifying employer.

Organize and direct the day-to-day administrative operations of the Department.
Administer the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) to state and federal agencies.
Work as the department's liaison with the District Attorney's office to facilitate the accurate and timely sharing of information.
Assist with the annual budget; forecast necessary funding for staff, equipment, material, and capital improvement plans.
Monitor budget throughout the year.
Prepare and analyze various departmental reports including reconciling department financial reports.
Determine, purchase and maintain equipment and supplies.
Analyze and evaluate existing unit objectives, goals, standards, priorities, policy and procedures.
Research, recommend, and develop policy and procedures for operational effectiveness.
Coordinate with City's Information Technology personnel on training initiatives, installation and software.
Evaluate technology needs for the department.
Manage record databases and data entry, including compliance with State law and department policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of:
Fundamental accounting principles, procedures, and applications.
Standard office practices and procedures including business English, business document format, spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and filing.
Computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, database applications, accounting and specialized software consistent for this position.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration or related field.

Three or more years of related work experience.

Must be able to obtain Wisconsin Department of Justice Advanced T.

System Operator Certification.
Other Requirements:
Valid unencumbered Wisconsin driver's license and safe driving record.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
