JOB OVERVIEWAll areas of electrical work will be performed including bending conduit, pulling wire, control circuitry and reading electrical blueprints.
Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
All necessary tools are supplied.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESPulling wire and terminating devices such as receptacles, switches, motors, and other electrical items.
Working with Panel boards, Transformers and Distribution equipment.
Work required of applicant mirrors a Commercial/Industrial Construction Electrician.
Perform various other duties as required by the company.
Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects.
Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedback.
Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
Other job duties as assigned per the needs of the Shop and the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) requiredApplicants need to possess a working knowledge of NEC electrical codes, and strong conduit bending skillsExperience with Panel boards, Transformers and Distribution equipment helps.
State journeymen or Masters license a plus2-3 years of experience in commercial/industrial work preferredMedium voltage and electronics experience a plusPREFERRED SKILLSIdeal candidate will have worked in a similar Electrical Construction positionAble to read and interpret drawingsGood references with excellent work attendance and attitudePosition RequirementsEOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
