PositionWelder FabricatorDescriptionThis position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications in conjunction with safety standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing philosophies within a team environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESSet the example for safe manufacturing and material handling practicesMeet and maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standardsMeet and maintain the required efficiency level with minimal re-workResponsible for following blue print, sketches, engineering drawings to produce products to customer requirementsOperate Fab Shop machinery and equipmentProvide assistance to other fabricatorsTalk to Production Manager and understand expectations of assigned projectsRegularly and consistently demonstrate skill in the areas of welding, grinding & polishing, layout, print reading and verifyingRead and interpret job specifications to determine how they apply to the projectFit, tack and weld fabrications completeMeasure work piece dimensions to verify accuracyMaintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate and work well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projectsIdentify problems, develop alternative solutions and gather/present information toward implementing alternative actionsDemonstrate initiative and willingness to undertake increased responsibilityExhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projectsDemonstrate team work by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedbackOther job duties as assigned per the needs of the Shop and the CompanyPosition RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED); Welding program diploma preferred but not required1-3 years minimum of welding experiencePREFERRED SKILLSFabrication experience that includes knowledge of layout, fabrication and weldingStrong mathematical and analytical skills, along with a keen sense of attention to detailExcellent blue print reading and interpretation skillsEOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
